Organised by the National Library Board, Singapore, The BearFruit Academy (BFA) is part of the initiative, Economic Survivor Series that addresses the needs of PMETs, rank and file workers, new graduates and mid career job seekers.
BFA is a new way of approaching education that provides an alternative to the existing academic institutional structure. With a series of courses that equips promising students with the necessary exposure and skills, people from all walks of life now have the opportunity to actively participate in the creative industry.
A mentor will be appointed to helm each module offered under BFA. Further, each module will have an actual commercial engagement that students will be involved in from creation to production and sales.
This platform also allows students direct entry into the industry and valuable interaction with industry players, providing the opportunity to network and form relationships that will benefit them when they enter the workplace.
Our Target Audience
Our primary aim is to arm participants from fresh graduates to professionals with the basic industry skills, to broaden their exposure in their target industries. Programme formats will be interactive in nature, as well as those that are specially tailored to suit the particular needs.
If you are interested to participate as a student or organisation please contact Chris Koh at Chris_KOH@nlb.gov.sg
